CLEVELAND, Tenn. — When it comes to antiques, Walter Presswood prefers the thrill of the hunt. To him, it’s all about finding the right piece, not owning it.
“I like finding something that has been neglected, put away for years, and bringing it back to what it’s supposed to be,” said Mr. Presswood, who owns and runs Presswood Vintage Antiques. “When you rub a finish, find a glow, there’s nothing like it.”
In his 27 years as an antiques dealer, Mr. Presswood has found thousands of those right pieces, building a loyal and far-ranging customer base.
