With a three-day holiday weekend coming, Chattanooga Market is gearing up for a barbecue showcase that will last two days.

It’s the market’s second annual Beast Feast, a chance to sample some of Chattanooga’s best barbecue, said Paul Smith, Chattanooga Market general manager.

“Last year’s barbecue event was so popular that we’ve expanded (from Sunday) to include Saturday as well,” Smith said. “Patrons can buy samples from each of our vendors for just $1 each.”

Guests can sample as many as they like, or buy a plate at their favorite booth. Among the vendors are Sweeney’s, King’s Smokehouse, Lockhart’s Fire & Smoke, Family Concessions and Fat Boyz Concessions.
