Lookouts play Memorial Day

The Chattanooga Lookouts will double the time they’re in town starting Monday with a 10-day home stand at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley.

First up, through June 4, are the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx. June 5-9, the Lookouts will go up against the Carolina Mudcats (more on that series in next Friday’s FYI Weekend).

Here’s what you need to know about the first five games.

* Monday: Game starts at 6:15 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive an Ace Hardware Lookouts logo baseball. Memorial Day fireworks will end the game.

* Tuesday: Game starts at 7:15 p.m. There are two ways to get two-for-one tickets: either by presenting the package wrapper from Kraft cheese singles or by showing your Bi-Lo Bonus Card.

* Wednesday: Game begins at 11:15 a.m. A $6 Lunch Ticket buys a general-admission seat, hot dog and soft drink. After the game, several members of the team will be at Big River Grille & Brewing Works to meet fans and sign autographs.

* Thursday: Game starts at 7:15 p.m. One lucky fan will win $1,000 in a random drawing. Others will receive coupons that can be redeemed for discounts around the stadium. Seniors get in free, compliments of HealthSpring.

* June 4: Game starts at 7:15 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a set of Lookouts baseball cards.

General-admission seating is $4, with $2 discounts for seniors and children. Box seats are $8 and $5.
