Arkansas junior receivers Greg Childs and Jarius Wright have known each other since fourth grade, which should not be confused with them being friends since fourth grade.
“I really didn’t like him,” Wright said. “He was new to our school, and I was kind of a popular kid there. Me and my friends never picked him on our team. We tried to bully him, really.”
Said Childs: “I didn’t like him, either. He had about 20 homeboys, and every recess he used to chase me around the whole entire time, but he never could catch me.”
By middle school, the two were inseparable. They held a joint news conference at Warren (Ark.) High School to sign with the Razorbacks, and they’ve been producing ever since for Bobby Petrino’s Hogs.
Until last Saturday, that is.
