Republican Chuck Fleischmann convinced a large majority of Chattanoogans and other residents of Tennessee’s 3rd Congressional District that he is the right man to advance sound and responsible conservative political principles in the United States House of Representatives.
Winning more than 91,000 votes in Tuesday’s election, Fleischmann swamped seven other congressional candidates, with Democrat nominee John Wolfe running second with more than 45,000 votes.
Fleischmann is a vigorous, idealistic and intelligent young man who justly has won a big victory.
Celebrating as the vote majority appeared Tuesday, Fleischmann said, “Tonight I am a candidate, but tomorrow I am your servant.”
He is expected to be an outstanding member of the House of Representatives.
