The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has put a 32-year-old rape suspect on its top 10 most-wanted list and is offering $1,000 for information about the man.
Mario Escobar, originally from Guatemala, is wanted on three counts of rape by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, according to a TBI release.
Police say Escobar raped an underage female three separate times and threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
The victim came forward, and police obtained warrants for Escobar in July 2009. Escobar has a criminal history, which includes criminal impersonation and DUIs. He is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
