Elections – in just 3 weeks!

There seems to be a great deal of political dissatisfaction and unrest among the American people these days.

President Barack Obama has two more years before he has to face the voters to determine whether he will get “four more years.”

But in just three weeks, voters across America will be electing all members of the House of Representatives and a third of the members of the Senate.

Will voters continue Democrat majorities in both the Senate and the House? Or will they elect a Republican majority in the House or Senate or both?

The decisions voters make on Nov. 2 will be very important.

Economic concerns seem to be foremost. But there are many other issues that will have long-term effects that will be determined by the members of Congress we elect next month.

What the new Congress and the current president do in the next two years will have a big effect on the choice of the next president.

President Obama surely will seek a second term in 2012. But so far, no Republican presidential hopeful has “come to the top” among several prospects.

The next two years will be very important in what the new Congress will do, and what influence its decisions will have on choosing the next president.

So what happens in congressional elections in three weeks, and what happens in the next two years, will have tremendous effects upon our country and us all.

The elections in November 2010 – and November 2012 – will be very important.
