Hamilton County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect in today’s North Hickory Valley Road home invasion.
The elderly female victim told deputies that a black male with a slim build wearing a white shirt and blue jeans entered her home in the 8800 block of North Hickory Valley Road through the garage just before 9 a.m. today, according to a sheriff’s release.
The man had a handgun, demanded money that the woman had in her purse, put her inside her bedroom closet and stole a camera before leaving.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released.
