Spending too many dollars

The federal government obviously is taxing and spending too many of your dollars – and having to borrow more, putting us all deeper in debt for many years to come.

Congress and the president are simply totally irresponsible.

We have a national debt of more than $13.4 trillion already.

We are having to pay about $400 billion a year just in interest on it.

Yet the current federal budget calls for spending roughly $3.5 trillion.

That’s about $1.4 trillion more than our too-high taxes will produce, putting us deeper in the red.

Do you as a taxpayer think the president and most members of Congress are being financially responsible? Or are we letting them mortgage our future – to pass the bill and the problem on to our children, grandchildren and beyond?
