Republicans use hate to distract
I got a good laugh out the hypocrisy in the Free Press editorial attacking Sen. Harry Reid titled “Ugly racial pandering (Sept. 7).”
This had to be an affront to the editor. Racial hate mongering has been the sole property of the Republicans for over 40 years. Nixon’s Southern Strategy to use conservative white voters’ racist anger over desegregation to win the South’s votes was, as W. Bush would say, “Mission accomplished.”
This pales in comparison to the racist and hypocritical ruse done to the Hispanics. The borders open and they’re exploited for cheap labor in economic good times to depress the wages of American workers, while Fox Propaganda Network tells us ” it’s jobs Americans just won’t do.” Racial exploitation begins after the Republicans wreck the economy and “Illegal Immigration” is yelled from the rooftops, hoping the addle-brained forget they destroyed the economy and their role in the Hispanics being here in the first place.
This isn’t the only hate-filled distraction used by the Republicans to attract votes. These despicable tactics are also used against homosexuals and Muslims. While the rich corporations, who finance the Republicans and this destructive behavior, are left to economically rape the working and middle class.
