A four-day series of events to spotlight the North Chickamauga Creek Greenway will start Saturday at Greenway Farm off Hamill Road.
The Greenway Showcase, according to organizers, is a chance to experience all the natural, cultural and recreational resources the greenway has to offer. Activities range from a bird walk, tree tour and gardening seminar to an Ultimate Frisbee game and rain barrel workshop. Many of the events also have special activities designed specifically for children.
With the exception of the workshop, all activities are free. Donations to the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy are welcome.
