For decades, Chattanooga’s Kay Arthur has been one of the most active teachers of the Bible, not only in our area, but throughout the world, by radio and television broadcasts and study guides provided in nearly 150 nations and almost 70 languages.
So it is quite appropriate that she will be honored with the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame Award at the organization’s national convention March 1.
She and her husband, Jack, founded Precept Ministries International as a means of disseminating the gospel of Jesus Christ through personal teaching and her authorship of more than a hundred books and Bible study guides. Her teaching has been spread worldwide through her “Precepts for Life” broadcasts.
The National Religious Broadcasters Association is an organization of Christian communicators serving millions of listeners, viewers and readers.
It is a high honor, indeed, for Kay Arthur to be recognized by this organization for her Christian teaching to so many for so long.
