The city of Chattanooga has suspended garbage and recycling pickup due to the snow.
City public works crew are busy today clearing streets and roads and will resume garbage pickup once conditions improve this week, City Sanitation Manager Justin Holland said today.
“Additional information will be released detailing Monday garbage service as soon as possible,” Holland said. “Plans for the remainder of the week will be released following further evaluation of road conditions on Tuesday.”
Recycle collection scheduled for today will be serviced on the next collection date, Monday, Jan. 24, Holland said.
