Chickasaw Management LLC has bought a 61,500-square-foot building off Amnicola Highway for $1.6 million and plans to lease the site to South Atlantic Galvanizing.
Clair Nelson, SAG’s general manager, said the company will put several operations under one roof at the site, where it previously leased 25,000 square feet. It employs about 10 people, he said.
SAG provides hot dip galvanizing services and products, according to David DeVaney and Jeff Jennings of Charter Real Estate Corp., which handled the transaction.
The seller was Development Company of America.
