A presentation relating to a photo exhibit on display at the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association’s Art Center has been postponed.
Pickens County, Ga., photographer Lisa Schnellinger and her husband, Tom Willard, originally were scheduled to talk about their experiences living in post-Taliban Afghanistan at 1 p.m. Saturday. The presentation has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Jan. 29.
Their talk is part of Schnellinger’s exhibit, “Beyond the Mountains: The Interior Life of Afghanistan,” which will remain on view through Feb. 18. In the show, Schnellinger offers an inside look at the country using 28 life-size portraits on satin that glow and move as visitors walk through the exhibit hall.
The Art Center is at 420 W. Main St. in Blue Ridge, Ga. The gallery is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
