One man was stunned by a Taser and three arrested during a search of an East Chattanooga home in which police say they found cocaine, marijuana and handguns.
Eric Lamont Cal, 26; Tommy Jermaine Covington Jr., 19; and Tevin Douglas were charged with possession of crack cocaine and marijuana for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Douglas also was charged with resisting arrest and assault on police.
While executing a search warrant at 2506 Wheeler Ave. Thursday afternoon, officers found 0.3 grams of crack cocaine, 38.9 grams of marijuana, nine unidentified pills, a marijuana grinder, a loaded .32-caliber pistol, a .36-caliber pistol and $40, according to police reports.
When police told the three to get on the ground, Cal and Covington complied, but Douglas began to struggle with an investigator, the report said. The investigator pulled Douglas away from a pistol and Douglas struck another investigator in the chest before he was stunned with a Taser and taken into custody, the report said.
All three men denied possession of the items, except for the cash.
