Chattanooga police say "waves of juveniles" caused a ruckus on the Walnut Street Bridge and around the North Shore on Saturday night, but they say there's no evidence shots were fired, as many callers around Coolidge Park reported that night.

Officers responding to numerous shots fired calls found no evidence of gunplay on the bridge or around the vicinity, said police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary.

Some onlookers told police that they saw children with fireworks. Weary said at this point that is what police are attributing the noise to.
