Banjo picker Josh Miller, right, can expect to see familiar faces tonight as the band he joined in 2009, NewFound Road, plays the Tennessee Valley Theatre in Spring City, his hometown. Considered one of the most exciting contemporary bluegrass bands of the new millennium, NewFound Road is known for what one reviewer called “wonderful harmonies [and] tough-edged pickin’.” Other members of the band are Rob Baker (mandolin, vocals), Tim Shelton (guitar, vocals) and Randy Barnes (bass), from left. The show opens at 7:30 p.m. at the theater, 184 W. Jackson Ave. Tickets are $10. Call 423-365-PLAY for reservations.
