Jack Owens will talk about his three decades of service in the FBI at the Chai Steppers luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Jewish Cultural Center, 5461 North Terrace Road. Owens entered duty as a special agent in 1969 and retired in 1999 to write. His memoir of life in the trenches, “Don’t Shoot! We’re Republicans,” was published in 2009.
