The Incline Railway up Lookout Mountain is St. Elmo’s signature attraction.The Lookout Mountain Incline Railway has been closed for repairs and will reopen in late February, officials said Wednesday.
The rail was scheduled to be shut down Dec. 3 for track repair, but mechanical problems pushed up the closure date, Tom Dugan, Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority executive director, said in a news release.
