Not every terrorist act is as visibly shocking as a person carrying a bomb into a crowded area and detonating it, or flying a hijacked plane into an occupied building.
Almost every day, the people of Israel face smaller but still deplorable terrorist attacks committed by some of their Palestinian neighbors.
Recently, Palestinians began throwing stones at a car driven by an Israeli man. One of the stones struck the man in the head, and he lost control of the car, killing both him and his infant son.
The investigation revealed that the assailants deliberately tried to hit not only the car but the driver himself, causing the deadly crash.
It was just one more tragic example of Middle Eastern viciousness — and one more demonstration of the fact that Israel cannot let its guard down against those who seek its destruction.
