DeMoss, a chartered financial analyst at De-Moss Capital in Chattanooga, was pictured last week in a half-page ad in the nation's biggest newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, highlighting the advantages of dealing with a certified financial analyst. A similar ad appeared in August in Barron's magazine.
The CFA Institute, the 66-year-old trade group that administers the CFA exam, is featuring 30 certified financial analysts like DeMoss in its national ad campaign urging investors to seek the transparency and integrity of those with the CFA designation.
