The postponed Arts in the Park Festival art contest for grades 6-12 has been rescheduled as part of Sunday’s Chattanooga Market in First Tennessee Pavilion, according to Chris Thomas, market manager.
The show will be displayed during market hours and winners of first- through third- place ribbons will be announced. Schools of each first-place winner will receive $100 for their art department.
With students supplying the art, market vendors will supply the crafts for Sunday’s Harvest Festival.
“This week will be an eclectic mix of vendors as some of the Arts in the Park vendors may be at the market as well,” said Thomas.
In addition to arts and crafts, there will be farm-fresh eggs, handmade pastas, local cheeses and meats, gourds, pumpkins and corn stalks.
