Mocs climb to No. 14 in the Sports Network Top 25

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team moved up nine spots to No. 14 in the Sports Network Top 25 poll, released today, following the Mocs' 38-17 win over then-No. 10 Jacksonville State on Saturday.

Georgia Southern moved from No. 2 to the top spot after defending national champion Eastern Washington was defeated. Appalachian State remained at No. 3 and Wofford fell two spots to No. 9 after losing to Clemson.

Jacksonville State dropped to No. 17.

The Colonial Athletic Association has five teams among the top 14, the Southern Conference has four, the Big Sky three and the other two belong to the Missouri Valley.
