• 3 p.m. An Afternoon of Opera, Roland Hayes Auditorium, UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine St. The George Connor Society and the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will presents favorites from “Carmen,” “Rigoletto,” “La Traviata,” “Lakmé” and more, featuring Cheryl Brendel, soprano; Rosella Ewing, mezzo-soprano; Ron Brendel, tenor; and John Brandon, baritone. Program will conclude with the famous quartet from “Rigoletto,” conducted by Maestro Robert Bernhardt. Free.
