BOOST Summit expanding

Owners of all-sized businesses are invited to come together for a panel discussion on business topics at the third annual BOOST Summit Jan. 26.

According to event coordinator and Enterprise Gateway Council of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce president Rebekah Manley, the event is designed to bring business professionals with different backgrounds together to help build a better business community through education and interaction.

“It’s a great opportunity to come and hear from experts and learn with the pros,” she said. “We’re trying to bring together small business with big business to learn from each other.”

BOOST, which is an acronym for Business Owners’ Opportunity for Success Today, will take place from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Volkswagen Group of America Academy Conference Center, located at 7469 Volkswagen Drive. The event costs $10 per person and includes a catered breakfast from A Silverware Affair.

Originally designed as a summit to help members of the Enterprise Gateway Council interact with Volkswagen, the summit has expanded this year for the first time to incorporate a wider variety of businesses and topics, said Manley.
