The Times Free Press will sponsor a debate among the five candidates vying to be the next sheriff of Catoosa County, Ga., Tuesday evening at the Colonnade Center.
Hoping to win the seat being vacated by Sheriff Phil Summers, who is retiring, are Larry Black, Mike Helton, Jeff Holcomb, Ben Scott and Gary Sisk.
The debate will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Colonnade’s banquet room, with doors opening to the public at 5:30 p.m.
Each candidate will have opening and closing statements and face questions from a moderator and audience members. Candidates will be allowed to rebut accusations.
The Colonnade is located at 264 Catoosa Circle in Ringgold.
