Chattanooga Zoo will serve up two staples of summer in the South on Saturday with its first Q & Brew at the Zoo. The family-friendly event promises barbecue and beer tastings with a side of bluegrass.
Scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Q & Brew will feature the talents of Chattanooga-area pitmasters, a variety of beers from Carter Distributing (as well as other beverages) and the music of Mountain Cove Bluegrass.
“The South is known for having great barbecue, so we thought a Q & Brew would let folks showcase their talents in a fun and unique setting while enjoying some brews and listening to great live music,” said Darde Long, executive director.
Adult tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets for children ages 4-12 are $5 in advance and $10 at the door.
