Musicians in the Chattanooga Area Flute Society and the Cadek Conservatory Flute Choir will present a program of Irish and Irish-inspired music to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
The free concert will begin at noon Saturday in Cadek Recital Hall on the UTC campus. The flute choirs will be joined by June Edmondson on piano, Betty Spencer on harp and Dexter Bell on string bass.
Selections will include such favorites as “The Galway Piper,” “O’Carolan’s Concerto,” “Irish Washerwoman” and “Planxty Irwin.” The program will end with the traditional playing of “Londonderry Air.”
