The Tigers, 15-7 overall and 6-5 in the Southern Athletic Association, host Birmingham-Southern in their home finale after the 2 p.m. EST women’s game. That gave Sewanee its first seven-game winning streak since the 1975-76 season. Brett Bouldin answered the first with a 3-point basket, and fellow senior Brown made the winner with two seconds to go from a full-court drive and dish by Valentino Bryant. Bryant had six assists in the game, and he and Keshonn Carter each blocked three shots. The Tigers’ 15 wins are the most in a season since the 1997-98 team went 20-6.
