“Tennessee Aquarium’s ODDtober” teaches aquarium visitors fun facts about the kooky behaviors and adaptations of creatures from around the world with an up close look at the cool critters in Ranger Rick’s Backyard Safari. The events occurs Oct. 1-31, daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take a walk on the wild side by adding a Backstage Pass tour and get even closer to sharks or freshwater megafish in the River Giants exhibit.
“Halloween Eerie Express aboard the Tennessee Valley Railroad” is a spooky vintage train ride through the Tenn. Valley, over bridges and through tunnels featuring storytelling, an Eerie Fun House, Halloween treats and more. This family- friendly event occurs Oct. 11,12,18,19,25 and 26 at 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Train departs from the Grand Junction Station.
“Chattanooga’s Zoo’s Boo in the Zoo”is a spooktacular event that features loveable cartoon characters, trick- or-treat stations, costume contests, games, candy, crafts and much more. This family-friendly event occurs Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 5:30-8:30 p.m.
