Travis StewartA cable repairman has been charged with stealing prescription drugs and cash from homes while on the job. It’s happened at several homes — and mostly elderly customers — across Marion County.
Police said Travis Stewart, 26, had been working for Charter Communications for more than a year. He was a familiar face to customers like Pamela Webb, who just assumed he was stopping by to help.
“He’d been here before,” Webb said. “It’s still just a shock to me that he took my pain medicine that I need.”
