Construction continues on Vine 324, student apartments going up at the former site of Toast and Chad’s Records near the UTC campus.
Project: Vine 324 apartment-style student housing.
Location: 324 Vine St., Chattanooga.
Owner: Green Real Estate Group.
Why now: Adam Green, managing director of Green Real Estate, said the need for student housing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sparked interest in the construction. Promixity to campus also tipped the scale in favor of building.
History: Prior to Green’s involvement with the property, a dual-purpose building at the corner of Vine and Lindsay streets housed Toast Cafe and Chad’s Records.
