Giants RHP Jake Peavy has no-hitter through 6

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Jake Peavy of the San Francisco Giants has a no-hitter through six innings against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The right-hander has thrown 84 pitches, 53 for strikes. He has walked three and struck out seven Saturday night. The Giants lead 3-0.

Peavy, acquired from Boston last month, took a no-hitter into the seventh inning Aug. 2 at the New York Mets.
