The Bachman Elementary School Auditorium is featured on this year’s edition of the Walden’s Ridge Guild’s Christmas ornament collection, which is available now from guild members and at Bachman Community Center and Walden Town Hall.
Each year, the group releases a new ornament depicting a Signal Mountain landmark, with past ornaments featuring the Little Brown Church, Signal Mountain Grammar School, the W Road and Signal Mountain Inn.
“We’ve had lots of requests to feature Bachman in our ornaments,” Guild member Susan Jensen said.
Bachman is home to all the Girl Scouts on Walden’s Ridge as well as the Mountain Art Guild, and also offers classes, summer camps, a library and 30 community garden plots.
“It’s become a great resource for the community,” she said.
Ornaments can be purchased for $15 each, or as a set of six for $60.
Proceeds from the ornament sales are donated to Bachman, Waldens Ridge Emergency Services and Signal Mountain Social Services, said Jensen.
