Santa Claus has a lot of responsibilities this time of year, but when he can’t make it to an event, he knows who to send in his place.
The next two weekends, area children can gather around the fireplace in the Visitors Center at Enterprise South Nature Park off Volkswagen Drive to hear Christmas stories told by the first lady of the season. Stories With Mrs. Claus will start at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-6 and 12-13.
Cookies and milk will be served. Children are welcome to wear their pajamas and bring a pillow and blanket.
There is no cost to attend, but there is a limit of 30 children per night, so reservations are required. Families are asked to limit their visits to a single evening.
To register, call the Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department at 423-842-6748.
