The married Michigan artists featured in this month’s exhibition at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St., will be on hand for the opening reception 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. For “Two Footprints,” textile designer Dorothy Jett-Carter has contributed wearable art with detailed hand-beading that reflects a strong ethnic influence, right, and Rod Carter is showing his “photoliterature,” in which he captures the essence of a place with photography and prose.
