Vols announce new 2015 season opening opponent

Tennessee has announced Bowling Green will be its season opening opponent for next season in Nashville.

Bowling Green will replace UAB, which officially shut down its football program.

Tennessee will dish out a hefty $1.2 million to Bowling Green for the 2015 opener, per the game contact between the two programs.

Bowling Green will be coming off three straight bowl appearances. It won ten games last season.
