University of Tennessee at Chattanooga basketball coach Will Wade said earlier this season that he has to prevent himself from getting mad when junior guard Eric Robertson misses a 3-point shot.

In recent weeks, Wade hasn’t had too many reasons to be upset about that.

The 6-foot-4 guard is 17-for-26 from 3-point range in his last six games — five of which the Mocs have won. He had career highs of five 3-pointers and 20 points in Monday’s 78-60 win over Lipscomb.

Robertson topped an eight-point first half with 12 points in a 1:37 span that helped blow a close game wide open. That deadly dozen consisted of a trio of 3-pointers and an acrobatic layup that turned into a three-point play.

His teammates were feeding off the hot streak and looking for opportunities to get Robertson shots.
