10 most aesthetically unpleasing uniforms

#10 Iowa State | Some years ago, citing long standing dissatisfaction with the aesthetic integrity of its old red and gold uniforms, Iowa State University put out three potential uniform designs to the Des Moines Register and took the new look of the Cyclones to the people.

#9 Indiana | These uniforms exist only to remind us that basketball season is just around the corner.

#8 Tennessee | There's nothing voluntary about these uniforms, which are an offensive, almost day-glo flavor.

#7 UCLA | Some call it classic, we call it unsettling. The baby-boy powder blue is not exactly a potent shade that strikes fear in opponents.

#6 Wyoming | Like many of these, this is more a result of the school colors than a fault of design. But does there have to be that much brown?

#5 Oregon State | We could design a better looking uniform on the NCAA College Football 2005 game on XBox.

#4 Boise State | Blue field. Blue uniforms. We get it. You all like blue.

#3 Virginia Tech | The colors, orange and maroon (which can look brown or violet but never quite maroon) are jarring and could use a little more balance, but not in the form of stripes. V-neck, Virginia Tech? Pass.

#2 Maryland | Do we need to even say anything?

#1 Oregon | The head-vampire of creative uniform design, this one succeeds on several levels at being not so easy on the eyes, from the color scheme (Gray? Really?) to the duck feathers adorning the shoulders. Sad thing is, this isn't even the most quacky look over the years for Oregon.
