CHICAGO (AP) – Jake Arrieta of the Chicago Cubs is pitching a perfect game through six innings against the Cincinnati Reds.
Arrieta struck out the side in the sixth to give him eight Ks for the game. The 28-year-old right-hander has thrown 77 pitches.
The Cubs lead 2-0 at Wrigley Field.
