Here’s your look at highlights from the weekly AP photo report, a gallery featuring a mix of front-page photography, the odd image you might have missed and lasting moments our editors think you should see.
This week’s collection includes relatives of a Muslim Brotherhood member sentenced to death reacting to the decision in Minya, Egypt; contestants performing at the annual Miss Gay Nicaragua beauty contest; a man carrying butter lamps at a monastery near an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists in Katmandu, Nepal; and Ecuador’s Walter Ayovi kicking the ball away in front of France’s Bacary Sagna during a World Cup match in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
