Genticorum, a fixture on the world, traditional, folk and Celtic music circuit, will close out the Black Box Concert Series at The Arts Center, in Athens, Tenn., on Friday, March 28. Presented by the Athens Area Council for the Arts, the show starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Sue E. Trotter Black Box Theater. Genticorum — the Canadian “power trio” of Pascal Gemme (fiddle, feet, vocals), Alexandre de Grosbois-Garand (wooden flute, bass, fiddle, vocals) and Yann Falquet (guitar, jaw harp, vocals), from left — is known for an energetic stage presence that weaves intricate fiddle and flute work, lush harmonies, energetic foot percussion and guitar and bass accompaniment into a musical feast. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for students. They may be purchased online at www.athensartscouncil.org, by phone at 423-745-8781, by email at office@athensartscouncil.org or in person at 320 N. White St.
