HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Most of the last batch of emails in the pornography scandal in the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office have been provided to Gov. Tom Corbett’s office.
Corbett requested the documents delivered Friday as he weighed whether four men who previously worked for him when he was attorney general should keep their jobs in his administration. Two of them resigned on Thursday.
The emails are bound in thick volumes and most of the text been heavily blacked-out. They include sexually suggestive comments about images originally attached to the emails and language that some groups might find offensive.
Last week, Attorney General Kathleen Kane identified eight ex-employees who sent or received hundreds of pornographic images or videos in emails discovered during her review of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.
