Humble, Tobin join businesses
Greg Humble of Crye-Leike Realtors and William Tobin of Caring Transitions of Greater Chattanooga are working together to offer solutions to the problems encountered when seniors move to a new home.
“The most immediate need is the move itself,” said Tobin, whose relocation service opened in Chattanooga earlier this year. “What does the older adult want to bring with them? Who is going to pack and move all these items?”
“The next most important consideration,” adds Humble, “is what to do the home after it is vacated. More often than not, the elderly need the income generated from the sale of their home to finance their future care in a senior community, and Crye-Leike draws from a variety of sophisticated proprietary resources to match sellers with prospective buyers.”
In partnering together, Crye-Leike and Caring Transitions can sell the home and manage the move, including estate sales. The goal of the partnership is to remove the stress of moving so older adults can focusing on finding fulfillment in later life.
Humble is an agent with Crye-Leike in Chattanooga, and Tobin, who holds a master’s degree in gerontology and aging services, is president and owner of Caring Transitions of Greater Chattanooga.
