A 41-year-old man has been charged for the second time with sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong.
Leonard Earl Ramsey, 41, of Rockford was arrested Sept. 17. He is also charged with two violations of the sex offender registry law, and violation of probation. He is being held in jail without bond.
Berrong said Tuesday that state probation and parole officers notified the Blount County authorities after an unannounced check on Ramsey led to the discovery of “suspicious images” on Ramsey’s computer.
