Calhoun, Ga.-based Mohawk Industries, the world’s largest flooring manufacturer, announced its second quarter financial earnings Thursday, marking a strong follow-up to its record first-quarter numbers.
The flooring maker reported net earnings of $186 million and diluted earnings per share of $2.53.
Excluding unusual charges, Mohawk bested its 2014 second-quarter earnings by 22 percent.
