Puckett's Gro. & Restaurant will open its new Chattanooga restaurant on Monday.
The new downtown eatery in the Tennessee Aquarium plaza will begin slinging biscuits and barbecue as it gears up for its public grand opening the following week on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
A Middle Tennessee landmark since the 1950s, Puckett's built its name on hosting live, local musical acts and serving Southern staples like classic meat-and-three items and its famous slow-smoked BBQ. The new Chattanooga restaurant - the fourth for Puckett's - is the first outside of Middle Tennessee.
"Puckett's' first priority is putting roots in the community, and that community is an important factor at each location," said Max Stephenson, general manager of Puckett's Chattanooga.
