Police emergency tileA 70-year-old man was killed this morning when a tractor he was driving and its Bush Hog apparently overturned on him while he was mowing on a hillside in Middle Valley, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, identified as Thomas Ables, was found unresponsive under the tractor, authorities said.
A preliminary investigation by detectives at the scene found the incident was “most probably” a tragic accident, the release states.
The victim’s body was taken to the county medical examiner’s office for a determination of the exact cause of death.
