SEPT. 5 vs. LOUISIANA-MONROE
Noon, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: SEC Network/102.3 FM
Best game in series: The Bulldogs have won all three games in the series by a combined 156-16 score. The biggest of those routs was a 70-6 runaway in 1994, when the Bulldogs returned two interceptions for touchdowns before Eric Zeier’s first pass attempt.
SEPT. 12 vs. VANDERBILT
3:30, Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville
TV/Radio: CBS/102.3 FM
Best game in series: Vanderbilt blocked a punt and threw for the end zone in the final 10 seconds of their 2011 matchup Georgia won 33-28. That was upstaged when Vandy coach James Franklin and UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham got in a heated exchange afterward on the field.
SEPT. 19 vs. SOUTH CAROLINA
6, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: ESPN/102.3 FM
Best game in series: South Carolina’s 38-35 win last year in Columbia deserves consideration, but it pales to the Gamecocks escaping 45-42 in Athens in 2011. Aaron Murray was great for the Bulldogs, but Marcus Lattimore and Jadeveon Clowney were the difference.
SEPT. 26 vs. SOUTHERN
TBA, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: This will be the first meeting between the two programs, and it’s Georgia’s one game against an FCS program. The Bulldogs have encountered no troubles against FCS programs under Mark Richt, having throttled Charleston Southern 55-9 last season.
OCT. 3 vs. ALABAMA
TBA, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 & 97.3/99.3 FM
Best game in series: The Crimson Tide will travel to Athens for the first time since spoiling Georgia’s “blackout” of 2008, but the two met in 2012 in what remains the best of the 23 SEC title games to date. In that matchup, the Bulldogs came up 5 yards short.
OCT. 10 vs. TENNESSEE
TBA, Neyland Stadium, Knoxville
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 & 106.5 FM
Best game in series: Georgia’s 26-24 win in 2001 wasn’t decided until David Greene threw a 6-yard touchdown to Verron Haynes with five seconds left. The Volunteers had taken a late 24-20 lead on a 62-yard screen from Casey Clausen to Travis Stephens.
OCT. 17 vs. MISSOURI
TBA, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: The Bulldogs won last year’s matchup 34-0 in Columbia, so the best game still is Missouri’s 41-26 win in Athens in 2013. Michael Sam had a 21-yard fumble return for a score, and Maty Mauk guided the Tigers after Georgia got within 28-26.
OCT. 31 vs. FLORIDA
3:30, EverBank Field, Jacksonville
TV/Radio: CBS/102.3 FM
Best game in series: Will the 1980 matchup ever be topped? Bulldogs freshman tailback Herschel Walker rushed for 238 yards, but it took a late 93-yard touchdown pass from Buck Belue to Lindsay Scott to propel Georgia to a scintillating 26-21 triumph.
NOV. 7 vs. KENTUCKY
TBA, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: In the 1998 matchup at Commonwealth Stadium, Quincy Carter and the Bulldogs survived Tim Couch and the Wildcats 28-26. Carter threw for 147 yards and rushed for 114, and a botched snap late kept Kentucky from trying a 50-yard field goal.
NOV. 14 vs. AUBURN
TBA, Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, Ala.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: Georgia’s win at Auburn in 2002 was the standard, given David Greene’s decisive pass to Michael Johnson on fourth-and-19. But Auburn topped it in 2013 with Nick Marshall’s 73-yard miracle strike to Ricardo Louis that put the Tigers up 43-38.
NOV. 21 vs. GEORGIA SOUTHERN
TBA, Sanford Stadium, Athens, Ga.
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: The Bulldogs have won all five meetings handily, with the 2004 opener being the most memorable. Danny Ware rushed for 135 yards in leading Georgia to a 48-28 win, but the Bulldogs had to put their starters back in when the Eagles got within 41-28.
NOV. 28 vs. GEORGIA TECH
TBA, Bobby Dodd Stadium, Atlanta
TV/Radio: TBA/102.3 FM
Best game in series: The past two have gone into overtime, with the Bulldogs prevailing in 2013 and the Yellow Jackets last year. The 1978 game remains the classic, with Scott Woerner’s 72-yard punt return and Amp Arnold’s late heroics leading Georgia to a 29-28 win.
